Extra virgin bio olive oil from Agia Triada Monastery (Crete) – 500 ml
The extra virgin organic olive oil is a product of the highest quality – unrefined and cold-pressed only by mechanical means. The olive is produced by the Monks of the Agia Triada Monastery in the Chania Prefecture of Crete since 1632. It’s entirely homogenous – the product is 100% extra virgin oil obtained from the olives of the Koroneiki variety, grown exclusively in the Monastery’s groves. Ever since 1632, the Monks from the Monastery of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) in the prefecture of Chania on Crete cultivate vineyards and groves. Their centuries-old tradition of growing groves and pressing extra virgin olive oil results in a superior product.
This olive oil has a high content of polyphenols, vitamins A and E, gallic acid, and its acidity reaches up to 0.8%.
Perfect for raw consumption as the base of vinaigrette sauces for spring and summer salads, as well as for cooking and frying.
At the international BIOL competition in 2007 in Andria (Italy) it was awarded the title of “The Best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Greece”.
